Academic Tutoring
Using individually tailored instruction, students are guided in the deeper understanding of academic concepts and their application for PreK through 10th grade. The latest research based multi-sensory techniques are integrated throughout the session to maximize student retention.
Orton-Gillingham Instruction
Systematic and sequential phonics instruction is integrated throughout all Orton-Gillingham sessions. This instruction is reinforced using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Often this program is used to support students with Dyslexia and Auditory Processing difficulties however the method and techniques can assist all learners in developing into stronger readers, writers, and spellers.
Homeschool Support
Three levels of services are offered to ensure a supportive environment for at-home instruction. Learning coach, curriculum guide and homeschool advisor services guide students and their families in the homeschool journey.
As a learning coach, instruction is delivered based on student's learning style, interests and previously selected curriculum to offer the opportunity for the strongest retention and highest levels of engagement.
The Curriculum Guide advises families on homeschool programs and curriculum options to improve student engagement and academic outcomes.
The Homeschool Advisor will recommend strategies to strengthen your current program based on observational analysis of your homeschool environment. Further coaching is available to assist with the implementation of these strategies. Additionally, for concerns related to social opportunities, resource organization and assessment expertise can be provided.
